Online Calendar Tutorial

The Online Calendar has a lot of features and is easy to navigate.

At the top of the page in the center, is a scroll box for "featured events". These events are specially highlighted. The featured events box shows the date, time (if any), the event title, and any details about the event.

Above the actual calendar, on the left, is a drop-down box offering you to select another month. This allows you to jump to another month up to 3 years in the future. In the center, is a search feature, where you can enter text to be searched on and you can optionally choose to view past events. To the right, is another drop-down box for "interest groups", allowing you to view events associated with a specific group (i.e., Christian Education, Choir, etc). You can view all events on the calendar by selecting "BFCC Activities" in the drop-down box.

Directly above the actual calendar, there are tabs where you can view events displayed in a calendar layout ("This month's calendar"). You can also view events in a list format for the month ("This month's events"), the week ("This week's events"), and the day ("This day's events"). You can also print the selected view. The Calendar provides instructions to help you print the calendar. And finally, you can download the events in the selected view in excel format (comma separated values format).

For more information on an event, you can place your cursor over the event and any details will be displayed in an information box. Or you can click on the event and the event with all its details will be displayed in a format ready to print.
