Vacation Bible School 2011

Black Forest Community Church invites all children to develop a closer relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Our summer Vacation Bible School, "Shake It Up Café: Where Kids Carry Out God's Recipe!", begins Monday, June 20th and ends Friday, June 24th from 9 am to 12:10 pm (Mon-Thurs) and 9 am to 1 pm (Friday).
Overview:

Your children will become chefs-in-training at Shake It Up Café. They will begin with a high-energy opening assembly where Chef Basil and Scraps, a helpful raccoon, lay the foundation for each session's activities and teaching points. The chefs-in-training will make their way to Kitchen á la King where interactive Bible lessons reveal five secret ingredients for living as a follower of God, and they will learn Bible Bite memory verses.  The children will expand on what they've learned by participating in a variety of activities: making their own art projects at Tangy & Tart Arts, exploring science activities at Foodology Factory, participating in recreational activities at Spork Sports, and

enjoying tasty snacks at the Takeout Treatery.  All the children are divided into groups, according to their age and grade, and attend the activities in their group.

Cost: for each family, $15 for the 1st child, $10 for the 2nd child, and $5 for each child thereafter.

Registration is now open! Parents are encouraged to register early, as pre-registration guarantees materials for your children. For more information about Shake It Up Café and to register, click here for the registration packet. The registration packet has a VBS overview letter (with more information about the program) and the registration form.
