Christian Education Committee

The Christian Education Committee oversees the nursery, Sunday School for all ages, First Step Preschool, Vacation Bible School, Family Night, the Youth Group, Youth Fundraisers and other related activities.

Our philosophy:

When Jesus returned to heaven He commissioned his people to: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

The dictionary definition of education is a program of instruction of a specific kind or level, knowledge acquired by learning and instruction, and a gradual process of acquiring knowledge. Christian Education begins with the study of the Bible and the power of the Holy Spirit who opens our hearts and minds to his teachings.

The Bible provides us with the knowledge of God, who He is and what He has done in history. Our desire is to help people believe and grow in their faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To help them learn to live out that faith and have a personal relationship with God. Sunday School, Bible Study (Adult Education) and the Youth Group provide an opportunity to pray together, study together and provide accountability as a community of believers. Christian Education also equips Christians for service and for teaching the next generation.
