Trustees Committee

The Trustee Committee oversees the management of church property, finances, water, and mechanical systems. This committee monitors the church's budget, and keeps track of general offerings. While our church does not have a formal tithing program, we do ask our congregants to offer what they can, through offerings and gifts of time and talent (volunteering).

The Trustees host two "workdays" every year: one in the spring and one in the fall. The goal is to maintain the grounds and buildings, and have fun at the same time.

The church is required to comply with tight state water testing requirements. This involves quite a bit of time and effort to sample the water, provide water testing results, and keep on top of the changing water quality guidelines. As a result, the Trustees spend a good deal of time monitoring this activity.

Major funding and policy matters are referred to the Board and to the Congregation when necessary.
