Diaconate

The Diaconate Committee are called to be servants of God and Church. As one of the spiritual arms of the church, the Diaconate endeavors to faithfully assist the minister in the celebration of the sacraments of the church, adornment of the sanctuary, providing fellowship to members and community, and assisting the minister with the spiritual activities of the church.

Through various ministries, the Diaconate seek to carry out its primary role of service to all. These ministries include:

  • Enhancement of Worship leadership
  • Training of Ushers
  • Training of Acolytes
  • Provision for special non-Sunday Services (i.e. Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday and Maunday Thursday).
