We will be participating in the Black Forest Festival & Parade on Saturday, August 9, 2008. We will have two booths in our parking lot, where we will be selling cotton candy, snow-cones, Black Forest hats, cook books, and more! We will also have an entry in the parade. Pastor Sam Fisher was priviledged to lead the Invocation Prayer for the County Commmissioners of El Paso County on May 1, 2008. The Black Forest Community Church is honored to have been chosen for this opportunity.

Spring Fling Dinner & Dance.
This event will take place Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Black Forest Community Center. Tickets are on sale through April 30th.

The Black Forest Community Church held Family Night on March 5, 2008. The adult group had a guest speaker, Darlene Avery, from Pikes Peak Hospice. Pastor Sam Fisher is introducing a Small Group Meeting. This is a way to explore your own spiritual journey in a contemplative, person-oriented group format. No one is put on the spot to share or talk, yet everyone is welcome to do so. The meeting begins with a potluck dinner, and then follows with a group discussion on topics.
